  • Dislikes have been removed. Thus far, we have seen:
    • Over 3000 likes across stories, chapters, users, and series
    • 15 dislikes

    It is not a popular feature, and in our opinion, it is not a productive way of leaving feedback for authors, nor does it help people filter out content they might not like.

  • When adding or editing tags, you can now copy and paste a list of tags separated by commas to add them all at once
    • For example, copying and pasting aa,bb,cc,dd,ee,ff,gg,hh,ii,jj into the tags field will add those ten tags
  • Memory leaks that had been causing the site to briefly go offline every few days have been fixed

New Changes ✨

  • Big Browse page revamp!
    • Now called “Read page”
    • Now a feed style with two feeds: things you follow, and all recent items
    • Stats, story popularity, rankings, etc. have been moved to separate pages
    • The page should load faster
  • The Following page became redundant and was removed in favor of the Following feed
  • Certain types of notifications became redundant and were removed in favor of the Following feed
  • On your User Profile page, it is now clear whether your likes/follows are private
  • “The End” no longer appears on ending chapters automatically. A story’s final words should be left to the author
  • Page titles are less big
  • Fixed some UI issues on Safari
  • UI improvements to Polls, Chapters Stories, Search Results, and general consistency
